Red, the color of the Day.

Vintage Gucci Pumps and vintage quilted bag-Goodwill//

These Gucci pumps are dated around the 1950s and this purse is the perfect size for outings and daytivities alike. Both found at Goodwill a few years back and have served me well. These kinds of staples are as much of a keeper as is the One who delivered these lovely roses this morning. We met 9 years ago in a small, quaint little southern town. #Timeless people, places and things.

Love, D.

Dress-Designer street vendor, Seoul//
I am absolutely in love with this dress. And, by love, I mean the kind that embodies my obsession with Audrey Hepburn. My inspiration derives from trying to emulate her grace, classiness, and above all, her care for humanity.

Juxtapositions of modern and vintage items is far among one of my favorite hobbies and styles that I stand by. Here, we have a pair of what I call my YOLO YOKO ONOS, because one fall in these towering platforms could possibly send me to the “never-wearing-heels-again grave”. And, to pay tribute to my favorite hippie, Yoko Ono. I found these one of kind heels at the Ewha Women’s University shopping district in Seoul.
The fabulous bag you see here was given to me by my beloved mother. Many of the premier designer bags you will see me with is my mom’s or timeless items passed down by my aunt. I rarely buy new handbags and you will normally see me with one of my mom’s items in hand, just my wallet, or my black tote that I carry for professional purposes. What can I say, I’m a simple recycling kinda gal.

How to have fashion fun and fanfare, too.

Beaded jacket-goodwill// Tank top-Victoria’s secret// leather leggings-AB// bag-Chanel Caviar bag// Shoes-Forever 21//
Among one of my favorite things to collect are (1) Vintage Ferragamos, and (2) as you see here..vintage beaded jackets.
I love anything beaded and sequined not only because it’s fun but everyone assumes you wear it for special occasions like NYE or 21st Birthday celebrations. But, quite frankly, I like wearing them on a normal random day with jeans, shorts, leggings, or even t-shirts. I guess this is the modern flapper girl in me. Yep, the jacket is as heavy as my adoration for it.
Y Peace, Love, Sparklessssss.

Sweater-Hongdae,Seoul// Skirt suspender-Aland,Seoul// Vintage belt//
This outfit defines two things: (1)my new affinity for knitted sweaters and (2)affirmation of my (still) suspender-loving nerd side. Oh, and my undying hate for cold feet. That’s three.

My aunt actually taught me how to hand knit during the grueling 2 weeks I was incapacitated post tearing my ankle to shreds during a misadventure at an undisclosed location in the streets of Hongdae—only my Korean friends know this story and that was a long run on sentence. Anyway, I’d always wanted to learn.. so what better time when you are without will and forced to remain still in positions for disgustingly-long amounts of time? I didn’t get very far, but maybe by next Winter I will have made something substantial…anything. And my overachiever in me says, perhaps an amazing sweater that is, the hand knitted sweater I am wearing in the above picture that I bought from a random store in Korea. Before I bid adieu, I wanted to thank organizations like Krochet Kids International who use clothes and creativity to impact our world; remembering clothes are not only of materialistic value but also invaluable channels of empowering, changing, and raising awareness about issues around the world.

How to wear all white.

Oversized white blouse-boutique in Seoul// Sweater-vintage Tommy Hilfiger// White pants-underground boutique in Seoul// Shoes-Forever 21// Chain anklet-Lucky Exchange// Bag-Chanel// Sunglasses-vintage store in Itaewon, Seoul//

White, gold, and tan. My musings from this outfit is entirely entertained around this beautiful Chanel. I love all white and a big splash of tan, it feels fresh and clean. The new chain anklet that used to be a chain bracelet that was too big for me, is now my new staple piece. I wear it to represent the solidarity of North Koreans incarcerated in political prison camps. You will see me wear it in many of the posts, but it is not just a fashion statement, but a personal statement that raises awareness.  I intend to tell anyone and everyone about the plight of 200,000 people suffering in prison camps bound not only by chains, but by the ideology and hopelessness of an entire country.

Four-a-gamos, Ferragamos🎶

…..Dom-a-reee, Dom-a-ree. Finders Keepers. You will occasionally catch me bouncing in and around Atlanta's  thrift and vintage shops in full thrifting mode: phone off and ice latte in hand-- on my vintage highhh. It's not only the lingering scents of Italian leather left on these fabulosos that make me want to burst out the Star Spangled Banner in my "opera voice", but mainly because its comfortable, its classy, and very la,la,la femme. I'll wear them with jeans, a shirt, and cute clutch on a shopping day, or  a dancing shift beaded top and leggings on a night out. The best note to this song? I have never paid more than $20 for a pair.

Celine. Paris. Chanel. Enough said.
