Pants: Flea Market, Seoul SK//Black bandeau: H&M//Sweater: handmade in SK//flats:vintage Ferragamos
A lot has happened over this past week. North Korea starts yet another fire, President Obama gave his SOTU Address, the Pope resigns on Ash Wednesday and today is Valentines Day ::insert forever alone meem:: (for proper juxtaposition).
While I often like to daydream of what kind of hippie I would've been in the 70s, here is me grooving to all the love in lieu of the problems we face in the 21st Century.
These pants are what I've dubbed my free floral pantalones. Largely due to the fact that the fabric is so liberating that I could virtually do any yoga pose in 'em. I bought them at a flea market that raised money to fund education for low income students living near the streets of Seoul, where I used to live. The proceeds were donated to an after school program so that they can have an opportunity to receive a proper English education. This sweater is my butterfly sweater because sometimes it makes me want to cuddle into a cocoon in fetal position because of its warmth, and sometimes it makes me feel like I have wings and want to (cue jenny from forest gump voice) fly far, far away.
Complete with my accessories include: my new DSLR that I sleep with, my john lennon circle sunglasses, and this urban Gucci purse. Well, there you have it.
Until next time, folks! Peace and love.
xoxo
Dom
