Fashion for Freedom Day

10 days until my birthday!!!! So, I decided this year for my birthday,  I want to celebrate my life by helping the lives of others.

I created a crowd funding for friends, family, and anyone who wants to join the cause.. and being the wonderful best friend that Sara is, we are teaming up for our first FFF project. I'll sell 5 things and she will sell 5 of her own (your lucky chance to buy her fashionable items!) All proceeds will go towards the project.We are both passionate about human rights, and this is our call to action!

North Korea has been in the mainstream media, everywhere. Often times, however, the nuclear weapons crisis overshadow the real issues and even worse, people think, "there is nothing we can do" regarding the human rights situation and other dire problems that persist. Well, there is always something you can do.

Simply creating dialogue and talking about the issue is the first step because information and knowledge is an invaluable commodity that spreads like wildfire. As we have seen through history, and more recently with the Arab Spring, dictators fall and freedom always prevails.

I don't want to get into real politik because it would sound rather cynical, but my point is that there is always something we can do to help and one must always remain hopeful. Since there are 10 days until my birthday, I will be selling 10 items on the blog to help contribute to the cause.

Day #1

Today, I am selling this lovely "T" dress, still with the tag! It's perfect for work, casual afternoons and dinner…year round! (yes, even winter, layer a black leather jacket underneath, with stocking and boots for a unique look!).

This dress is a size 3/4 (S) and hits right above the knee. It has a little touch of professional and classy to wear to work and comfortable and relieving enough for afternoon shopping and dinner. The belt brings this dress alive and can help contain that food baby after you've eaten more than you intended  needed.

 I'm selling this classic dress for $50.00. And, trust me, you can ask Burberry, this style and color will never go out of style!
