My Game of Thrones hair
Okay so I had this elaborate detailed story of the past few weeks and my evil computer decided to delete everything. I'll keep it short. Things have been hectic and exhausting lately, not to sound apologetic but it's like when you consistently tell your mom you're going to clean your room "tomorrow" and then it takes 2-3 weeks to do it. Yeh, so it's been a while since I've blogged but not to dismiss the fact that it has been in the back of my mind.
I took a much needed respite to New York and DC even though I somehow managed to insert my already chaotic mind/life into the craziness of NYC.
I didn't take my DSLR because if you know me, I invariably lose and break all of my most precious items. This time around was no exception. I got my wallet stolen in Soho and I was basically Dora the Explorer yelling 'swiper no swiping' as I watched a girl swipe my wallet from right behind me. I probably had a grotesque zombie face impression because I watched my life suitcase with my ID, passport, cash and cards all disappearing, along with my identity and faith in humanity.
Luckily this faith was restored when a nice young lady found the remains in a trash bag and gave me a call. It felt better than winning the lottery. Nonethless, I was happy this angel came to my rescue and let me fly home safely, without my friend having to snap an Edward Snowden photo of a plane seat where I was supposed to be sitting but non-existent.
Anyway, sorry for the rant but look out for my next post which will have much more eye-ing and a lot less talking, for sure!
