 Sweaters year round are great for unexpected, chilly weather…especially lately with all of the Spring showers. I love this sweater because it's comfortable and practical enough to wear 3/4 of the year..it's always got my back ;).

My favorite part of summer is the beach and of course, fun in the sun accessories!

2.white turban from my mom's old beauty shop you can find one for $6 here (fun with bathing suits!!!) and sunglasses via Rene Rene at little five points in Atlanta. They remind me of the vintage 70s Christian Dior jeweled sunnies!

3.vintage Christian Dior cropped top, striped scarf made by: me..(you can take old fabric, a scarf or buy some for $3 a yard at a fabric store and make one). Sunglasses from a vendor in Korea.. you can find some on Asos..oh, and Kung-Fu panda face to fight the sweltering heat!

4. vintage polka dot shirt and white reflective cat eye sunglasses from Forever21.

And of course, earth day is every day when you buy second hand items! Since I was a young girl, I would go into consignment shops just because I could find unique things (back then, I was embarrassed for wearing second hand clothes). Now, as much as possible, I try to buy vintage clothes or re-design the ones I already have..and styling them with the gently used designer handbags, clothes, and accessories my mom and aunt have so graciously passed down.

Slow fashion and creativity is key, gals! (Try adding pearls and beads onto sweater, studs onto shoes,  un-hemming sleeves off of blouses, wear skirts as dresses, or experiment with your boyfriend's t-shirts----guilty as charged).
